Welcome
"As your State Representative, I pledge to serve to my best abilities the citizens of the area, by encouraging what makes this district great. This region of the state has been ignored for a long time - Funding Schools, Indiana's strong reliance on Property Taxes, Personal Rights and Safety as well as Economic Development are some of the few points that need to be addressed. It is time to stand up and make our voice heard."

Rep. Knollman Promotes Statehouse Page Program
Jr. High and High School Students Urged to Attend
Representative Tom Knollman (R-Liberty) urges Hoosier students to apply for page positions during this session of the Indiana General Assembly. The 65th gathering of the General Assembly reconvened on January 8, 2007 and ends on April 28, 2007.
“I would like to encourage students to involve themselves in Indiana’s rich history and legislative process,” said Rep. Knollman. “Students will walk away with more than a new found respect for the state’s capital, but traditions that have spanned across generations of Hoosier’s lives.”
A day at the Statehouse for pages includes activities such as tours of the statehouse, attending floor sessions and committee meetings, and working alongside House staff. Any student 13 years of age or older should contact Statehouse staff via the information provided below. Availability is limited, so students should apply as soon as possible.
Students interested in paging at the statehouse can contact the Indiana House of Representatives Page office at 1-800-382-9841 or visit the House Republican Page request web site at http://www.in.gov/legislative/house_republicans/student/pageindex.html for more information.
